How the Mindshop Program works

STEP 1: Select Internal Champion Advisors

Based on your organization’s size and advisory goals, select one or more internal champions to become Mindshop advisors as part of the Mindshop program. These will be the early adopters who will build and grow a high performing advisory business with the support of Mindshop.

When you know how many Mindshop advisors you want to start with, select the Mindshop support package right for you. For example our Individual support package provides boutique firms and independent consultants complete support for one advisor who can drive advisory high performance across the firm.

Are you a larger firm? Join several advisors to ensure you accelerate new skills across multiple front-line advisors and embed advisory across your teams with our Accelerator or Enterprise packages.

STEP 2: Commence Mindshop Program

A monthly license fee gives selected advisors access to the four components of the Mindshop program to build skills, success and advisory mastery. The four Mindshop program components are Coaching, Tools & Resources, Training & Network. Access to Mindshop’s support elements such as coaching, tools, pre-built advisory services, online training and much more is provided via Mindshop Online, Mindshop’s great learning and coaching platform. All advisors new to the Mindshop Program are on boarded through our comprehensive induction program to ensure that they make a quick start to achieving their business advisory goals.

1. Coaching

All Mindshop advisors involved in the Mindshop program are allocated an experienced support coach, chosen from the ‘best of the best’ Mindshop advisors in your region to guide and support all aspects of your advisory journey.

Build confidence knowing that your coach will guide you on how to close larger client opportunities, save years of time wasted heading down the wrong strategic paths and shape a successful advisory model. Tailored to achieve your unique goals our confidential coaching support involves:

  • Confidential 24/7 access to your coach via the Mindshop Online learning and development platform

  • Capture your plans, training course progress and much more

  • On-boarding calls to shape your business advisory plans and goals

  • Quarterly check-ins each year to keep you on-track

  • Experienced, just-in-time sounding board for:

    • Developing and refining your advisory business model and service line
    • Pricing client opportunities
    • Support when you hit hurdles
    • Answering questions when you complete Mindshop Online courses
    • Delivery tips and techniques leveraging the Mindshop resources to grow your firm

2. Tools & Resources

Pre-built advisory services

Deciding what to offer clients and how to create a ‘product’ can be confusing and time consuming. Tap into pre-built services ready to customise with your logo complete with marketing material, how-to documentation, webinars, presentations (with timings and presenter notes), handouts and report templates. Online diagnostics

Mindshop diagnostics allow advisors to have existing clients or prospects rate themselves against a series of questions about a specific topic. In a matter of minutes, the respondent is provided an indication of their strengths, weaknesses and areas to improve. Up to fourteen diagnostic tools can be embedded on your website to generate leads, deliver paid business health checks, shape conversations on difficult topics or collect group insights pre-workshop. Quick and easy to deploy either on a website or via direct links, the diagnostics are full of features:

  • Responsive design to work on PC’s or mobile phones
  • Clients or prospects answer a series of questions or statements (marking them strongly agree or disagree)
  • After the diagnostic is submitted, success factors are immediately displayed in red, yellow or green to signify areas of strength or weakness
  • Respondents can benchmark their results against global averages
  • Advisors can group team results together for an overall team average
  • See which questions relate to the top three areas of strength or weakness and all answers for a full debrief
  • If advisors have a client using Mindshop Online, those online members have their diagnostic results stored on the platform
  • For ease of access, advisors have the option to display multiple diagnostics on a single embedded page on their website

No time to upskill in new advisory capabilities? Mindshop believes that learning is a lifelong journey and understands different people learn in different ways and at varying paces. Acquire the capabilities you need ‘just-in-time’ with a wealth of online training courses coupled with world-wide face-to-face training events for a deeper understanding of how to implement advisory services in the field.

Training Workshops

Attend full-day, face-to-face training workshops three times per year in your region, featuring senior advisors sharing best practice, these practical workshops allow you to learn and apply new skills, working on your businesses strategy and plans in the session. Annual surveys of the global Mindshop community determine training day topics so they are highly relevant to immediate business needs for advisors.


Annual Conferences

Held in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America, our conferences cover two days of intensive learning and great networking (an additional nominal fee applies)

Each Mindshop online training course has between 12-20 modules with videos, step-by-step guides, worksheets plus a final multiple-choice exam.
